Scientists in New South Wales have said they have found the oldest pair of honey eagles in the state’s wild.

Dr Craig Jones said he was surprised to discover the pair in a gippsland rock outcropping.

“We were completely taken aback because what you get is two of the most ancient wild birds in the world,” he said.

“This is the oldest pair of those in the region in over 2,000 years.”

The pair are not the first pair of a single species of bird to be found in the northern part of New South Wales.

One pair was예스카지노 found near the city of Cairns in 2004 but it was the first of a group of wild birds.

Dr Jones said h예스카지노e didn’t know why the pair had been found so quickly and hopes it wasn’t the result of a predator.

“It’s a problem with those nesting sites that I’ve known about for several years now,” he said.

He said the species could be endangered because of habitat 바카라사이트loss and their limited range due to bush fires that have scorched the northern and western coasts of New South Wales since mid-2009.
