First half of the WPT Season X schedule announced

After a fantastic Season IX the World Poker Tour is already making big plans for their Season X campaign, and this week we received our first look at the Season X schedule. The WPT released the details for the first half of Season X which includes a number of stops in Europe (including 3 new tournament destinations) mixed in with the usual tour stops in Los Angeles, Connecticut, Las Vegas, Atlantic, City as well as a new Florida stop.

Here is a look at the first 11 stops on Season x of the WPT:

The WPT press release announcing the Season X schedule also contained the following message: “Announcements about new on-air additions, big changes and eye-popping enhancements to the overall WPT product for Season X will be made at a press conference on the morning of Day 1A of the Legends of Poker Main Event on August 25, 2011.”

So it appears the WPT will continue to be a leader in televised poker as the new owners, Party Gaming, continue to build on their success during Season IX.
