Full Tilt Poker unveils new software upgrade

written by: Steve under News Comments: Comments Off

Packed into the latest software update on Full Tilt Poker was an extremely intriguing store item that should send countless cash-game grinders at the site streaming to the FTP and Iron Man Stores: Ring Game Tickets.

Ring Game Tickets work in pretty much the same way as a tournament ticket does; a player can exchange his Full Tilt Poker Points for a ticket worth a set amount based on the number of FTP’s cashed-in. However, Ring Game Tickets have a few added details that must be adhered to.

The most notable difference is that you must clear a certain number of FTP’s while playing on your ticket before the money is available to you in your Full Tilt Poker account –the tickets work in the same way as an up-front deposit bonus. The Ring Game Tickets are currently available in five denominations, each with their own FTP threshold that must be surpassed:

·    $10 Ticket – 250 FTP’s
·    $25 Ticket – 625 FTP’s
·    $50 Ticket – 1,250 FTP’s
·    $100 Ticket – 2,500 FTP’s
·    $200 Ticket – 5,000 FTP’s

Additionally, as you play on your ticket your ticket can increase or decrease in value based on your results –while this does not change the number of FTP’s that must be accrued for your ticket to mature, it will change the value of your ticket. For instance, if you purchase a $10 ticket and win $20 while playing on your ticket, it will now have a value of $30 –which you cannot access until you clear the 250 FTP’s.
