After a grueling four days of action the final table for the 2011 PokerStars.net EPT Snowfest Main Event taking place in Vienna, Austria is finally set; with an all European group making up the final eight players it is the unpredictable Team PKR Poker pro Vladimir “Beyne” Geshkenbein who is the most accomplished player remaining in the field.
However, even Geshkenbein will be looking up at the current chip-leader Kevin Vandermissen of Belgium, who absolutely dominated on Day 4 and built his stack up to an impressive 4.5 million chips –his nearest challenger is Cristian Dragomir who is sitting on 2.3 million in chips heading into the televised final table.
Here is a look at the final table chip counts and seating assignments for the eight remaining players in the Snowfest Main Event:
· Seat 1: Kevin Vandersmissen — 4,512,000
· Seat 2: Giacomo Maisto — 986,000
· Seat 3: Vladimir Geshkenbein — 1,678,000
· Seat 4: Philip Meulyzer — 1,758,000
· Seat 5: Denis Murphy — 991,000
· Seat 6: Morten Mortensen — 780,000
· Seat 7: Cristian Dragomir — 2,293,000
· Seat 8: Koen De Visscher — 1,543,000
There is a huge payout difference between being the first player eliminated from the final table and winning the EPT Snowfest, as the 8th place finisher will pocket €35,000, while the Snowfest champion will be heading home with €390,000 added to his bank account.
