Negreanu vs. Isildur1 Round 2 complete

After getting utterly thrashed last Sunday in their first Superstar Showdown encounter, Daniel Negreanu was back at the high-stakes No Limit Holdem tables on Full Tilt poker seated across from Viktor “Isildur1” Blom on four separate tables of $50/$100 NLHE.
Last week Negreanu became the first Superstar Showdown participant to get felted in the match, lasting only 1,439 hands against the young Swedish heads-up specialist Blom, before his entire $150,000 was in Blom’s PokerStars account.
Round 2 this past Sunday seemed to be going in the same direction as Negreanu was once again facing a six-figure deficit, down some $120,000 after 1,279 hands… and then KidPoker showed some serious determination, not only erasing the entire deficit, but coming out on top by $26,500 when all was said and done!
So after the two sessions –which were suppose to encompass 5,000 hands but fell short of that mark due to Negreanu going bust in Round 1—Blom finds himself on the good side of a $123,000 victory.
The next Superstar Showdown will once again be a 2-part affair, as Isildur1 takes on Scott ‘urnotindangr2’ Palmer beginning on April 3rd. The two players are very familiar with each other already, having played against each other numerous times at the high-stakes tables.
Blom is boasting a 5-1 record in the Superstar Showdown Challenge matches, defeating Tony G, Daniel Cates, Eugene Katchalov, Daniel Negreanu, and an online qualifier from PokerStars: His sole loss came at the hands of Isaac Haxton in the very first Superstar Showdown match.
