It’s that time of year again. Several online poker sites have been offering promotions to give players the opportunity to win a seat in the World Series of Poker, and Party Poker is the latest to do exactly that. Starting on May 15th, Party Poker will give away at least one WSOP Main Event prize package every day, with each package worth $14,000.

The format for this year’s WSOP promotion follows the trend that Party Poker has created in previous years. There are a number of ways in which players can qualify, including both multi-table tournament satellites and sit and gos starting at only $2. Of course, you’ll need to win your way through a series of tournaments if you wish to start with a buy-in that low.

Players looking to spend a little more upfront in exchange for a more direct route to the Main Event can opt for the $750 buy-in events that will be running once per day until May 30th. The winner of each daily tournament will be guaranteed a seat in the big game, along with the travel, hotel and spending funds necessary to make the trip. This includes a $10,000 entry ticket, eight nights of hotel stays in Las Vegas and $2,000 to spend however you’d like.

New registrants at Party Poker will even have a chance to enter the 2011 Main Event without spending a penny, as new depositors receive an entry ticket into a satellite freeroll that leads to WSOP qualifiers.

In addition to the aforementioned entry routes, players will have access to weekly qualifiers that offer direct access to the tournament. These qualifiers are currently scheduled to run until June 19h.

The 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event will start on July 7 and run until the final table is set on July 19th. As is tradition, the final table will reconvene in November when a winner will be ultimately decided.
