Day 1a of the PokerStars EPT Copenhagen Main Event attracted a solid field of 214 players, and Day 1b added a further 235 players to the final tally of 449; far ahead of last year’s turnout which stood at 423 entrants. With over €2,000,000 in prize-money up for grabs –with nearly €500,000 going to the winner—this will go down as one of the largest tournaments in Danish history.

Also on hand were top European players Annette Obrestad, JP Kelly, John Duthie, Allan Baekke, Jake Cody, Juha Helpi, Sami Kelopuro, and Toni Judet.
