The poker Twitter-verse was abuzz on Sunday with congratulatory Tweets, as longtime couple Erick Lindgren and Erica Schoenberg tied the knot this weekend. Lindgren and Scoenberg have been an item for over a year now –perhaps longer, and join the growing list of Mr. and Mrs. Poker Pros like Chip and Karina Jett and Vanessa Rousso and Chad Brown – I’d like to see some pro-betting lines on married couples last-longers in the Main Event or most combined prize-money for the series!

Judging by the Tweets and Twit-pics that were posted on Sunday, the couple had a formal outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara, California that included a number of well-known poker players in attendance –which would seem to make perfect sense now wouldn’t it! Among the high-profile attendees were Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth both of whom are longtime Lindgren pals. Other attendees were rumored to be “Hollywood” Dave Stann and Daniel Alaei –both Stann and Negreanu posted some pictures from the wedding on Twitter.

So where would a newly married poker-playing couple choose for a romantic honeymoon? Las Vegas and the mega-grind of the World Series of Poker of course! There is no word where the two might be going for a delayed Honeymoon, but it seems that Lindgren and Schoenberg will spend their first days as a married couple putting in long days at the WSOP which kicks off on Tuesday.
