PokerNewsDaily.com and PokerTerms.com up for sale on EBay

It seems Black Friday is having a greater impact on the poker affiliate world than was first suspected as
one of the leading poker media outlets, PokerNewsDaily.com, has hit the auction block, appearing on
EBay along with another poker site called PokerTerms.com.
The winning bidder will claim not only the PokerNewsDaily.com domain name and content, but also the
site’s Facebook and Twitter page. Not included in the sale are any affiliate revenue the site currently
takes in, or any current deals with staff or writers. The same deal holds true for the winner of the
PokerTerms.com auction.
The sale of PokerNewsDaily comes on the heels of the site drastically cutting back its content in recent
weeks –the absolute worst time to do such a thing considering the World Series of Poker is currently
underway—as well as dismissing a number of their top writers following Black Friday. The current
skeleton crew at PokerNewsDaily has managed just one or two posts per day, and often times the
content is dated by a day or two, compared to the site’s previous 5+, timely, articles per day.
With 8 days remaining the current bid for PokerNewsDaily.com is at $3,950, while PokerTerms.com is at
a mere $809. At this point the price of both websites seems like an absolute steal.
