Titan Poker Renews Rettenmaier and Trickett as Sponsored Pros
written by: John under News Comments: Comments Off
Two of Europe’s top poker players, Germany’s Marvin Rettenmaier and the UK’s Sam Trickett,
had their contracts renewed by Titan poker for the remainder of 2011. Both players originally
signed with Titan Poker in March of 2010 and will now head up Team Titan Poker which has
included other top poker talent like Sorel Mizzi in the past.
Trickett is considered one of the top UK poker players, and with over $4.6 million in career
tournament earnings in his still young career –2010 British Poker Awards as Best New Player-
- it’s hard to argue with that assessment. Trickett won the Party Poker Million in 2010 and has
built upon that success in 2011 with a win in the $100k High-Roller Challenge at the Aussie
Millions, followed by a runner-up finish in the $250k Super-High-Roller tournament at the
Aussie Millions.
Rettenmaier seems to be in the hunt at virtually every EPT tournament, and although an EPT
title has eluded the German pro to this point he has won the Spanish Poker Tour Grand Finale
as well as the France Poker Series Grand Final in 2010.
Titan Poker is one of the largest online poker rooms in Europe and operates on the massive
iPoker Network, the fourth largest collection of online poker sites in the world.
