West and Pilgrim headline WSOPC Regional Final Table

written by: Steve under News Comments: Comments Off

There is yet another stacked final table in a major tournament, this time at the World Series of Poker Circuit Series regional Championship at Harrah’s Rincon. The tournament attracted just 98 entrants, but the field was chock full of some of poker’s best players including Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth; due in part to the hefty $10,00 entry-fee.

While Hellmuth was eliminated early on, Negreanu saw his deep run end yesterday, finishing just shy of the money. The nine player final table still features the likes of 2010 POY contender and WSOP Circuit legend, Dwyte Pilgrim, Full Tilt Poker Red Pro Steve Brecher, poker pro Ali Eslami, and fresh off a win at the Wynn Classic last week Tim West, who enters the final table as the chip-leader.

West has a chance to follow-up his $318k payday at the Wynn with a $282k score in Rincon if he can hold off Pilgrim and co. at today’s final table:

Here is a look at the chip counts and seating assignments for the WSOP Circuit Series Regional Championship in Rincon:

·    Seat 1: Dwyte Pilgrim — 408,000
·    Seat 2: Miller Dao — 99,000
