William Hill Poker is a long-running UK poker site that offers real money play through their downloadable Windows software. Unfortunately, William Hill Poker is not currently offering downloadable software that is compatible with Mac OS, nor do they offer an Instant Play program that works regardless of your web browser. Mac users who want to play real money poker at William Hill will be forced to use a Windows emulation program, such as Boot Camp. Boot Camp is included with new Mac computers, though it does require the user to install a full version of Windows.
Installing William Hill Poker Mac
Before you can download and install the William Hill Poker software, you'll need to prepare your computer by installing Windows under Boot Camp or a similar Windows emulation environment. Once this process is complete, you'll be able to run virtually any Windows program, including William Hill Poker and other Windows-specific online poker programs. You'll also need a valid copy of Windows in which to install William Hill Poker. Once you've installed Windows on your Mac, follow these steps:
- 1. Open your preferred browser inside of Windows under Boot Camp.
- 2. Direct the browser to Poker.WilliamHill.com.
- 3. Click the Download and Play for Free link on the main page.
- 4. Observe the progress bar as the William Hill Poker client downloads to your computer. Once the download finishes, double click the installer to begin installing William Hill Poker Mac to your computer. Save the program to your Programs folder or another easily remembered location.
- 5. Open the William Hill Poker Mac software and register for a new username and password. If you already have a William Hill Poker account that you've used on a different computer, you can skip this step.
