Betfair Poker offers a variety of promotions for both new players and veterans. One of these promotions is the $20,000 Saturday Magic Hands promotion, in which players can be awarded up to $200 for each time they had strong hand that was outdrawn during the previous week. Aside from unique promotions such as this, Betfair Poker also features several permanent incentives.
Betfair Poker Welcome Bonus
Betfair Poker offers a welcome bonus that is available in $50, $250, $500, $1000 and $2500 amounts. A new player selects which bonus he or she would like to pursue by entering the appropriate bonus code with their first deposit of $10 or more. The difference between the bonuses, other than their values, is how fast the bonus money is released. For instance, the $2500 bonus releases $500 for every 7000 Player Points earned, while the $50 bonus releases $5 for every 40 Player Points earned. Additionally, all bonuses expire in 60 days, except the $50 bonus, which expires in 90 days. This means that only the most dedicated players will be able to make the best use out of the higher value bonuses. Betfair Poker awards Player Points at the rate of 3.25 points per $1.00 raked in cash games and 5 points per $1.00 spent in tournament fees.
Betfair Poker $2,500 Welcome Freeroll
In addition to the welcome bonus, Betfair Poker offers a $2,500 Welcome Freeroll tournament for new players. To enter, a newly-registered user must play at least one hand of raked poker in a real money game or enter a cash tournament. After doing so, the player should receive a ticket within 72 hours. This ticket is valid for 30 days after being issued. Held every Thursday, the $2,500 Welcome Freeroll is limited to 4,000 registrants, each of which are given 2,000 chips. Blinds increase every 10 minutes.
Betfair Poker Monthly Points Races
Every month, Betfair Poker stages a points race in which players play cash games for Race Points and compete for the top spots on the Race Points Leaderboard. Like Player Points, Race Points are earned by participating in raked real money games as well as cash Sit n Go and multi-table tournaments. Players are awarded Race Points at the rate of 1 point for every £0.05 raked. The top 100 finishers of the Points Race earn a share of the total prize money as well as additional awards, which include vacations, software and other prizes. Players continue to earn Player Points while earning Race Points.
