Thirty-Two, also known as Stripped Deck Poker or 32 Card Poker, is an interesting poker variation that uses a reduced card deck. In Thirty-Two, you'll have to remove all of the 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 6s from the deck before you begin playing. The rules of Thirty-Two are quite similar to five card draw, a basic poker variation that card players generally learn early in their poker careers. Thirty-Two appeals to poker players who are looking for a fast-paced game with lots of action and premium hands.

A maximum of five players can play Thirty-Two at once, and the game can follow fixed limit, pot limit, or no limit betting structures. The ace is given a low value in Thirty-Two, and as such, the softest straight is Ace, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten. Finally, suits are ranked in the order of spades, clubs, diamonds, and hearts, with spades being the weakest.
How to Play Thirty-Two
Aside from these special rules, Thirty-Two Card Poker plays out in a fashion very similar to a standard game of five card draw. A button is used to designate the dealer, and this button moves clockwise around the table. Two blinds are required from the players sitting to the left of the dealer, and you can either fold, call, check or raise when it's your turn to making a betting decision.
Each player is dealt five cards facing down, and the first of two betting rounds occurs. Betting begins with the player seated to the left of the Big Blind. Following the first betting round, every player can replace up to four of their cards. If you wish, you can stand pat, or keep all of your cards. Generally, players have 30 seconds to make this decision. After all of the players have replaced the cards of their choosing, another betting round commences. This betting round is known as the showdown. The player with the best five card poker hand ultimately wins the pot.
Thirty-Two Split
If you and your fellow players wish, you can opt to ignore the suit rankings in favor of a split pot. In this case, two players with equal hands will split the pot at the end of the showdown. This method is often preferable for players who don't wish to remember suit rankings while playing Thirty-Two.
